Lovera Wolf Miller, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. and David C. Miller, M.D., D.A.B.P.M., F.I.P.P., D.A.B.I.P.P. met at a piano recital in fifth grade and are a happily married physician couple residing in their hometown, La Porte, Indiana. They have two daughters, Sasha and Brienna, and a new son-in-law, Kash.
Dr. Lovera Wolf Miller obtained her BA undergraduate degree with honors in biology from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. She obtained her medical degree, MD, from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, California. She completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Glendale California. Lovera is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a certified menopause specialist by the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and a member on the National Consumer Education Committee for NAMS. Dr. Lovera Wolf Miller has been in private practice in Redlands, California with the Beaver Medical Clinic; in Iowa City, Iowa with Obstetrics and Gynecology Group; and in LaPorte, Indiana with Health 4 Her. She has served as department chairman at all three hospitals: Redlands Community Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and La Porte Regional Health Center. During her tenure in Iowa, Lovera was a clinical instructor of obstetrics and gynecology for resident physicians at the University of Iowa. She currently limits her practice to gynecology and menopause. She is president of Health 4 Her and co-director of The Woodland Abdominal and Pelvic Pain Group. She lectures regionally on the topics of perimenopause, hormone therapy, women's wellness, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Lovera is a passionate women's health advocate. She enjoys playing the harp for relaxation.

Dr. David C. Miller obtained a BA in English from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana; earning a Masters degree, MA, in physiology from University of California at Riverside, Riverside, California; and worked on a doctoral degree at UCLA in neuroscience at the Brain Research Institute, Los Angeles, California. During his tenure at UCLA, David taught neuroanatomy for medical students, and while at UCR, he was an instructor for courses in physiology and neurophysiology. He completed his medical degree, MD, from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, California. He completed an internship and residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. David completed fellowship requirements in the subspecialty of Pain Medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is Medical Director of Woodland Pain Center and Woodland Healthcare Surgicenter. David has published several scientific papers and regularly presents at national medical meetings. He lectures regionally on topics related to chronic pain. He is a past member of the Indiana Society of Anesthesiologists Board of Directors and former president of the board of the LaPorte YMCA. He still enjoys playing and writing music for the piano. |
